Tutorial for those who don't even know what the hell a .bat file is.

Ok, I'm going to assume that you know absolutely nothing about batch files, what they do, or how to write them.

Here's my definition of a batch file:

A code written in notepad and changed to a .bat file which will do commands exactly as they are coded.

FYI: batch files can be fun.. but if you get into adding viruses or unreversable commands, they can be dangerous to yours and others' computers.

Anyway.. here's how to make a batch file:

Go into notepad.

Type in the code.

Save it wherever you like.

Right click on it and click Rename, then change .txt to .bat and you're done!


To give you a feel to it: enter this code:

@echo off
echo You excited about batching?!? (y/n)
pause >nul

msg * good.
